Holistic

Hi! My name is Christie!
I was born and raised in Troy, Ohio where I grew up with a “irrational” love of animals! We always had multiple dogs in the house and a cat. On top of that, as a child, it was not uncommon for me to have rabbits or guinea pigs, too. I truly love almost any animal, especially those with fur or feathers!
To some, I may seem a bit crazy, but to me, animals are my passion and my purpose!
I have been married for 29 years to a wonderful man named Brent. Thank goodness he doesn’t mind my craziness and love of animals. He has been very patient with me and our crazy household at times. We have two beautiful children that also have adopted a tremendous love of animals. At one point we had 6 dogs of our own, a cat and 8 rescue dogs that we were fostering in our house. At the same time, we raised chickens and ducks and we had a grooming and boarding business we ran, too! So, needless to say, it was never quiet at our house!I have been working with animals for over 27 years, as a dog groomer and ran my own dog grooming business for 25 years. Through the years, we added dog boarding as one of our services, too. In 2006, I started fostering for a rescue group, and in 2010 I started my own rescue group where I ran, fostered and got to love on so many rescue dogs. As you would imagine, we had some foster failures that got to stay with us long-term.

A part of me has always leaned towards the holistic side of life…
but I officially dipped my toes in it for both my family and pets about 22 years ago for my own health. Then, I jumped in head first into my research when I had a female Jack Russell that was diagnosed with a liver shunt. My research spiraled me deep on how to help her naturally with supplements, food and how to lessen the toxic load for her little body. At that point, I knew there was no turning back.
From there I began studying different holistic health options for people and pets, and even guided many of my customer’s dogs to look at alternative modalities including nutrition, chiropractic, acupuncture, Reiki, essential oils and the benefits of supplementation. 2 years ago I retired from my own dog grooming business, “my baby,” to move to sunny Florida in order to pursue new endeavors. I knew I was ready to expand my role with animals and to help them on a deeper level. In 2022, I became certified in Quantum Nutrition Testing and worked at a holistic practice to implement those skills. Now, I use my skills and knowledge to help pets, and their humans, live happier and healthier lives. In addition to QNT, I use an AO scanner to send bio resonant frequencies to help people and pets eliminate stress and toxins to bring balance to their bodies so their systems can function optimally. I am currently studying to obtain my raw food and animal communication certifications. And, who knows what else I will add to my toolbox over time! Looking forward to bringing a holistic approach, and way living, to you and your pets.
